Multicar Insurance Policies
Choosing to cover your cars under a multicar insurance policy is a big step, and it’s very important to make sure that you make the right decision. Never go into an insurance policy without knowing what you want!
One important question to ask yourself is whether or not the multicar policy is right for you. See whether it covers multiple drivers or only multiple cars. If you want to insure yourself and your family, you’re going to want a multi-driver multicar insurance policy. This is important to figure out for you as a person, be it part of a family or just you and your multiple cars. If you only want a policy that covers YOU and your two cars, you don’t need to worry as much as someone with a wife and children.
For those of you with children, you should always be concerned about when your kids reach the driving age. Normally you will be charged much higher rates when you have drivers under 25 in your coverage. Multicar insurance takes this into account too, so in the end it might be more cost effective to insure your under-25 children under policies that are separate from yours. When insuring your family, make sure you’re making the most affordable and safe choice. In this case, multicar insurance is good for you- but not for your young adult.
Another important thing to consider is whether or not you plan on buying another car later on. Many multicar insurance policies available to you have absolutely no problem adding more cars- and will even offer you great discounts for when you do add more cars! Just make sure that you know everything and read the fine print. Some clauses might include something that says adding a luxury car will cost you extra on your policy. As always, be aware of everything you’re getting yourself into!

Is Universal Automotive Insurance One Of The Inexpensive Car Insurance Companies?
That is the question that was posed to me the other day by a friendly neighbor. Knowing that I have a background in automotive insurance information, it certainly makes sense that he would ask me. What was surprising is that he thought the company was one of the most popular and well known companies around...and I had never come across it before. So, of course, I set to looking it up.
As it turns out, Universal Automotive Insurance is common name for car insurance companies across the United States, and probably in other countries as well. The name is attractive, and also shows up as Universal Auto and Universal Insurance, and other similar variations. There is most likely at least two or three companies sharing the same name in nearly every state. It obviously has not been copyrighted.
So to answer my neighbor's question accurately actually becomes very difficult. Some Universal Automotives might be one of the inexpensive car insurance companies. But others may be far from it. With any of these small companies, it takes a little bit of dedicated legwork to learn whether or not the policies they offer will work for you. They usually do not have their own website. If they do, it contains minimal information. That means you have to actually call them, speak to a representative, and have them give you a quote for your car and driving circumstances. But to be honest, as I like to be, the legwork is often well worth your efforts.
When choosing a car insurance provider, it's so important to the the research up front so that you make sure that you have chosen a company you'll be happy with long term. While we all hope that we'll never have to file a claim, it's good to know that if you ever do have to, you'll be dealing with a company that will treat you well.
